Christmas Week on the Slopes
Santa will be making rounds throughout the week at various resorts. Look for him in at SquawAlpine on Dec. 20 and Dec. 22 and at Homewood Mountain Resort from Dec. 21-24, from 11am-2pm. At Diamond Peak, he’ll join Penguin Pete to hand out treats and take photos with children on Dec. 24-25 form 11am-1pm.
Family Fun off the Slopes
Enjoy Merry Days & Holly Nights at Squaw Valley I Alpine Meadows from Dec. 14-31. The resort will transform into a winter wonderland with holiday decorations, fireworks, visits by Santa, ice garden and train rides, horse-drawn sleigh rides, live performances, disco tubing and much more. Free and ticketed family events will be occurring through New Year’s Eve.
Join Northstar California Resort for their annual Noel Nights every Friday evening through Dec. 21. The Village at Northstar will transform into a winter wonderland, complete with horse-drawn sleigh rides, complimentary ice skating, s’mores and hot cocoa by the fire pits.
Celebrate at Granlibakken Tahoe with their annual Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade on Dec. 24 from 5-8 p.m., followed by hot chocolate, s’mores and pictures with Santa.
The Reno Jazz Orchestra turns Christmas jazzy on Dec. 20. at Squaw Valley. This season, Squaw Valley joins their repertoire as they embellish great music with grand Christmas tradition in the spirit of the jazz big band stage performance. Hors d’ouvres & bar service available.
Join renown vocalists and musicians from the TOCCATA-Tahoe Symphony Orchestra and Chorus on Dec. 22 as they present Handel’s Messiah. This elegant event will bring the holiday spirit to life.

Beyond Merry Wonderland Christmas Eve Holiday Dinner will offer a lavish buffet with all the right trimmings. Dinner will be served in the Terrace Room at High Camp, with beautiful views of Squaw Valley and Lake Tahoe in the background. Seating is at 5pm, does not include tram tickets.
