Vikingsholm BBQ Fundraiser
On Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm there will be a picnic style BBQ at Vikingsholm, held by Big Blue Q of Tahoe, with wine and beer and a flashback into the days of Emerald Bay Resort, featuring Rosie Smith. This evening BBQ benefits the work of the Sierra State Parks Foundation. Tickets are $80 ($70 for SSPF members), including parking with the opportunity to drive down into Emerald Bay. Burning Man is a practice in community; “Burners” create art, exchange ideas, and participate in the burning of the Man, a symbol whose meaning is as varied as the attendees themselves. The Reno Aloha Festival is a cultural showcase event that preserves the unique traditions of the Pacific Islands. Experience the Pacific Islands in dance, music and mouthwatering food.
