Happy Autumn! As we enter this amazing time of cooler temperatures, falling leaves and “ole hallows eve” (my favorite holiday of the year), we welcome the final few months to a very long year. Like our temperatures, real estate is beginning to cool a little too. I don’t know if its from buyer exhaustion, or the idea that families are getting back to normal; the simple fact is that inventory is still tight and the market is finally beginning to chill out. We are beginning to see price reductions and longer days on market, and less and less buyers are willing to jump in for a slugfest to be the best. More on this later in our Q3 Market Report section.
 
Thank you everyone for your miraculous efforts and elevated thinking throughout this cultural evolutionary process of 2021!

To be honest… I think we are all ready for a little snow and a couple powder days on our favorite mountain and a cozy fire and hot chocolate watching it snow. Speaking of snow…
 
Squaw Valley is now Palisades Tahoe? We have Alpine Meadow side and Olympic Valley side of the mountain, all to be connected by a new gondola (under construction) and giant umbrella of Palisades Tahoe, and the awesome Ikon Pass collective. So load up the SUV, grab you ski bags and lets go rally the slopes!
 
This fall we wish you all the grace and fun, friends, families and gatherings. Hug a friend, smooch a lover, wear a costume, shake yo bootie, and enjoy this cooldown. Hopefully, we’ll see you out there on the slopes soon!
