How big is Lake Tahoe?👇 For some perspective:

How big is Lake Tahoe?👇

For some perspective:

Lake Tahoe stretches roughly 21 miles long and 12 miles wide, covering about 191 square miles of the Sierra Nevada.

But what you see from above is only part of the story.

At its deepest point, Tahoe reaches 1,645 feet and holds approximately 39 TRILLION gallons of water. It’s the second-deepest lake in the United States.

And that paddleboarder at Sand Harbor?

Just a tiny reminder of the scale of the place we get to call home.

Save this for your next fall weekend in Tahoe👇

Save this for your next fall weekend in Tahoe👇

A few trails worth exploring around Incline Village this time of year:

Flume Trail — the views in this video speak for themselves
Tahoe Meadows — an easy option for getting outside
Tahoe Rim Trail toward Spooner — lake views and fall color along the way
Monkey Rock — short, steep, iconic lake overlook near Incline Village
Chickadee Ridge — approachable with beautiful scenery as the seasons change
Mount Rose Summit Trail — a longer, more challenging hike with expansive views and Galena Creek Falls
Stateline Lookout Trail — short, relatively easy, with big lake views near Crystal Bay
Marlette Lake Trail — a longer forest hike to Marlette Lake that connects into the broader Flume Trail area

Fall is a good reminder that there’s more to Tahoe than ski season!

The kind of Tahoe home you don’t want to leave.

The kind of Tahoe home you don’t want to leave.

There’s a room for just about every mood at 91 Winding Creek.

Gather around the fireplace. Cook for a crowd. Catch a movie downstairs. Play a round of billiards. Find a quiet corner with a book. Or end a ski day with a steam while the creek runs outside.

It’s big, but it still feels warm. And that might be our favorite thing about it.

Inside the Winding Creek Lodge 📍Olympic Valley,

Inside the Winding Creek Lodge 📍Olympic Valley, CA

This is what a luxury mountain lodge in Olympic Valley looks like from the inside.

At 5,656 square feet, this home was designed with one thing in mind: bringing people together without sacrificing space or privacy.

The great room sets the tone with soaring ceilings, rich woodwork, stone detailing, and a dramatic fireplace overlooking the creek. From there, the home unfolds into spaces made for every version of a Tahoe weekend:

• A chef’s kitchen with an 8-burner commercial-grade range
• Cozy breakfast nook overlooking Washoe Creek
• Private primary wing with separate bathrooms + closets
• En-suite guest bedrooms designed for privacy
• Two additional guest suites above the garage
• Dedicated theater room
• Billiards room + library
• Reading and game loft
• Private gym + steam shower

It’s substantial without losing the warmth that makes a Tahoe mountain home feel like a retreat.

And when everyone comes together, there’s plenty of room for that too.

Luxury Living in Reno, Nevada

If you’re considering a move to Reno and looking for a luxury community, there’s no single definition of what that lifestyle looks like here.

Montreux offers a private, golf-centered mountain setting surrounded by towering pines and the Sierra landscape.

ArrowCreek combines gated living, golf, expansive homes, and elevated views across the Reno valley and surrounding mountains.

And Toll Brothers communities bring a newer approach to Reno luxury, with contemporary homes, modern amenities, and thoughtfully planned neighborhoods.

What makes Reno luxury real estate interesting is the variety. You can choose privacy in the pines, panoramic city views, golf-course living, or a newer community designed around convenience and amenities, all while staying connected to Lake Tahoe, Mt. Rose, and everything Northern Nevada has to offer.

If you’re searching for a luxury home in Reno, Nevada, the first step is figuring out which community best fits the way you actually want to live.
